| The galleries section is organized primarily in chronological order. Gallery One, the earliest work, reinterprets classical works in terms of modern issues/events. “Hockey moment,” for example, depicts concern expressed for hockey player, Steve Moore, after he was “hit” by Todd Bertuzzi. For this painting I used the colours and composition of Giotto’s 14th century “The lamentation.” Galleries 2 through 6 document my continuing fascination with the figure.
